After getting some feedback from loyal hard core FT shooters via PM who also value their personalised kit (and other collectors and hobbyist who "wall hang" ) - the consensus is indeed "a picture is worth a £1,000,000 .."

On a serious note - some of these amazing pictures helps propagate the sport/hobby for all new comers into the world of Field Target shooting; anyone unfazed by "pimping" their kit - well, stay with your dinosaur attitude and stick with your Scrooge attitude; YES, its all about the shooter & their skill (we know that) ; doesnt hurt to personalise one's kit according to budget. Anyway, the negatives of some is made up by the amazing kit some shooters take pleasure in molly coddling.

So, congrats Martin - We LOVE your quality "porn" pics of shooting rigs ! just amazing photography and tells us you really have the eye of the tiger with the camera

Thanks a lot lads, what a nice way to start the week

I've still got a long way to go with the camera and promised myself I wouldn't take on another expensive habit but I did find myself looking a more lenses on eBay last night.

I've been trying to give a bit back to the sport and like you say a picture saves a thousand words, which is just as well because I'm not a brilliant writer either .

I'm just saving up for a new plug-in that will allow people to download the pictures from the site, just to make it easier for people to collect them or spread the word. I genuinely don't mind if people take the pictures and use them elsewhere, it's nice to get a credit or link but it's not the most important thing to me.

So, yeah, thanks for that and I'll see you all in 2017 with even more gun porn

I'm pretty close to getting a new one but I think I'll hold off and upgrade the body and lens as my kit is basically for new starters to DSLR and I've still a lot to learn. Its good fun learning with all the automatic stuff turned off but I just need to be a bit quicker as I missing a few good shots, I'll get there tho and thanks for the support.
