...sorry...but only in USA Ive seen a few...and then no more...from several years ago. FX + Airgun of Arizona are commercial partners who do promotions so, its ;) and :?

Example - I know of no European seriously using FX platform for benchrest...

The Russians have used Walther LG400 (with 16J reg) with Cz barrel ; there is a famous Ukrainian guy "Spurlos69" who has this set up. Perhaps they are now using ATAMAN as in the famous carbon fiber stock (which has a CZ barrel)

The Italians tend to Favour FwbP70FT onto a benchrest stock made by a Milan gunsmith - and of course the Fwb800 is now gaining popularity (I dont know if these are 7.5J or power modded) See

- here: http://www.gm-competitionarms.com/ (local gunsmith who makes BR stocks - Walther, Feinwerkbau , etc...)
- here: http://www.airbenchrest-italy.org/portale/ (very keen Feinwerkbau owners)

in USA, it has been the Mac1 and now the Thomas Rifle which you saw the results....and a few RAW in the USA nationals; including the Chip SMith "Sumo".
(PS: "OPEN CLASS" 2016 USA results > http://pimpmyairgun.com/viewtopic.php?f=249&t=1753 )

If budget is serious limited consideration- in my humble opinion - I would start with a RAW....and progress from there

Personnally, I am a German fan - so of course would look to having my Fwb P70 or Fwb800 (already power modded by the UK guru - Jon Harris :ugeek: ) , slightly stripped down, and adapated to shoot benchrest 25 meters ;)

Massive difference there they are running fast with heavies, very little to no wind like shooting a rimfire subsonic.
Where we would be aiming off circa 3" theyre smack on to 1/4" aim off been there done it.

Fens above are all 6J or would see some sort of reg extention or modded silver bolt or black bolt off FT with no stabilisor.

Anchutz dependant how its done is the way to go at moment the epithamy of technology 30 yrs in front of FX, Rapid platforms and most others.
Still like my JH P800.
