I played a little more with the Sightron SVSS 1050X60 MH. It was re-parallaxed by Sightron to focus down to 9 yards.

I agree with all of the above , 8 yards is no problem , but I don't understand , with my one , which was also imported from the U.S. Of A , I can get out to 100 yards ( just )
Everything looks the same as your one , even boxed up it's identical .
But it I not as good as my normal 10-50x60 Sightron...

Over £300 , not sure if they are making them any more .
I got Tacticle third eye saddle scope mount dove tail , or get dovetail to Picatinny conversion rail .
Or look on Internet Saddle Scope mount with adjustable MOA.

Barrel indexing comes from the .22 LR benchrest custom gunmakers in the USA. Bill Calfee, Mike Ross and others have done this for quite some years now for 22LR. It seems to work for their application so I would not know why it would not work for airguns.

He deserves the credit for doing it without a lathe the part I didn’t like was the reaming he went too far and removed unnecessary at least 5mm from the choke.

I know people buy with their wallet and understandably so but it would also be good to support the uk who have potentially helped to create the product, just my thoughts.

I hope it is a good scope, certainly the one I have used all season has not disadvantaged me in any way, it will not be perfect...
