This is my 800X that I'm preparing for the next season with JH magic, so my plan is to post the process until it is finished.

Want something different will cover some parts with synthetic leather, middle of the action and cheek pad this is the first test.

The top clamp won't lock into the T slot,it can only be used to angle the bar.You won't be able to adjust without undoing both,so becoming more of a faff.I have one of Jon's adjusters with the single clamp in the centre, my FWB 800 with the Pm2 and Gemini etc.weighs in at 15.5 lbs and it locks up...

You are quite correct about the long entry section of the barrel. In the process of converting this barrel to use on a Steyr I cut off this section. The new barrel entry was polished using very fine emery cloth, etc.

A fair whack of the Soft Touch had either worn off or I peeled it off.
Its still on the cylinder but did notice Sat with the feint rain it left white spots and made it easier to peel off the stock.

Would have preferred a darker grey , in certain light it looks like battle ship grey. Both anodising...

Looking to get a collection of O-rings for the P70FT. Anybody know the sizes involved? I can glean some from the product schematic but some of the FWB seals look odd - perhaps parts you can only get from them. The official seal kits seem awfully expensive but I suppose if they don't need much...

I am disappointed on the FWB cylinders...

4 of them, less than 5 years old, are leaking and 3 more are dated 2008
(but I bought them new in 2009) and they also leak.
Use them as delicate ..! never hit, abuse of overload, and slowly fill.

Small leaks through the manometer and leaks through the...

Last time I zeroed my Feinwerkbau P70, was in March 2012.

Since then, she keeps the POI, even when taken out of the stock and back etc., I’m only practicing before the competitions but never have to ‘add some clicks’ for the actual shift.

If its the last as in the youngest it will be at least 9 yrs old. P700 replaced in 2005 which in turn replaced by P800 in 2012.
Our distributors Centra were flogging them off alum £860 in 2005, retail from 2002 to 2003 £840 at discounted price.
