There is only about 1mm of clearance between the rim of the cylinder and the airstripper ; but do-able.
Probably preferable on the barrel of the new LONG style LG110FT...

Do you have to remove the muzzle break to top the tube up?

Yup....
So its a preferable "quick fill" mod. on the Steyr air cylinder...
Alternatively, on the new Long Steyr LG110FT, fit the standard air cylinder (non quick fill) and not the long air cylinder ..

Dont hold up much hope though but will give it a go.
Classic example of a designer not knowing or undertsanding its intended market.
Other rifles are worse with barrel ending way short of cylinder.
You also wouldnt get a quck fill on without looking obtrusive.
