#1 Hello from Scotland

Fri Sep 01, 2017 4:26 pm

Afternoon all!

Thought it best to introduce myself, I’m hopefully coming back into the HFT/FT scene after a break of over 10 years, how things have changed!! I’m now on the waiting list for my nearest club so just waiting for the call, living in Scotland once I get the shout ill then have to start the ball rolling to get my license (I honestly thought this wouldn’t go ahead, ah well!!) I’ve fallen in love with the Anschutz 9015 Field Target so once I get everything sorted will hopefully be getting one of those beauty’s!!! :D

Hi,

I've seen a picture of one of those JH custom 9015's and would love one, does Mr Harris have a website etc?

Oh thanks for the welcome too!

A warm welcome Tony.

Any idea how long the waiting list is and is it a stipulation to be granted a licence.
Currently running around 2 1/2 months round here for licensing, other areas known 2 weeks to 2 1/2 years. Subject to security and back ground checks, its plain sailing.
If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.

Hi Jon,

I don’t know if it’s a stipulation but I do think it will make the process a lot easier if I can prove that I have somewhere legit to shoot, I’m not too sure on the waiting list but I have heard they are pretty sharp. I am also hoping that previously having both a FAC and Shotgun license may help speed things up too!!

Tony
