Heres my March 10-60 in orginal disguise from end of March 2011. The lower one
I prefer these scopes as an all rounder to the 80mag X
Original markings on a 102mm wheel, it has the prototype FT focus to you and me that means it tops out at 175 yards.
Gaps meaningless this is 26mm from 50 to 55 yards and the only scope ever come across where the gaps get larger above 25 yards to 55.

As the title.
Better all round scope, barely any heavier than a Leup Comp, 60mag enough, astounding unmatched resolution, neutral image uncoloured, no white out and oozes quality.
The 80's felt too top heavy and bulky at 845gr which is regarded as light when the latest Niko weighs in at 1050gr, T50 950gr, Leup Comp 600gr region. It upset the balance pushing the scope forward 1" due to its 4" eye relief. My 10-60 at 730gr has a very similar balance when a T50 at 950gr is swapped over.
The only thing I liked about the 80's is they are the ultimate rangefinder scope, but that don't make it a winner. In saying that it must be 8 months since the last time I misranged a target with the 10-60 in standard spec, missing it badly just on way back from Japan after a service.

They survive on springers?
If my Spanish galleon comes in I'd love a 10-60 some day. Still seems the Bushnell 4200 series is one I don't hear of problems with on springers.

Just my preferred scope the 10-60 having used 80 mags, its not all about range finding its happy medium.
Fairly sure they can take the recoil of springers ask Kelblys.
