They are good price comparisons mate.
Then you have to incorporate UK TAXES & Post office handling charges.
They will take your breath away.
Not saying there isn't a saving to be made, but look to the EU first, then compare USA To EU.
Shop around for a few days. There are truly massive saving to be made.

What BG said.

I used to run a few American cars and used to buy some of my parts from the US. Sometimes I got lucky but 90% of the time I ended up paying VAT and Import Duty as well as handling charges which could be anything from £8 to £30 depending on which carrier was used.

So you need to add about 23% ish for tax, plus handling.

I hear what both you chaps are saying and totally agree...never buy NEW KIT from USA and ship into UK - as the import duty wipes out the profit you would have saved :o

There are proven routes , IF you are planning on going for holiday or business to USA anyway...

That will shake things up a bit know theres the European distributor taken over 12 months ago at the expense of Kelblys pulling out of the global distribution.
If there is a global distributor no March can be sold without going through them.
If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.
