When I spoke (at length) to Falcon re what the T502 was they explained the old Black "FT" and Silver "LM" (light management) options are no more .. they now do a "black LM" scope with the MOA reticle as folk thought the Mil Dot Reticle was "too thick".

So currently Silver is gone

Mildot was thick some liked but too cluttered in 2nd focal plane think you could get 5 dots within a kill at 50 yards, 7 on a March 80 MTR pointless.

Ret above a simpler version of two prototypes have had the last few years. Currently use the finer prototype with half hash marks, today was using the 2 to 3 hash for windage and each hash is larger than a 40mm kill at 50 yards.
Going back some years these have been in the pipeline some time, no rush job. Great pains from memory with several prototypes not having good enough image quality. You get a degradation on image clarity using glass rets, this being no exception it costs Falcon more for better glass to compensate.

Never liked the LM but do have the best silver have ever seen, shame its in milirad or would be using.
If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.

Can i ask could you give us explanation of what was the "LM" versus "FT" real life differences . It seems "shrouded in" mystery ;)

Personally my take and following what other scope producers have done to fool the untrained in to thinking image is brighter than it actually is.
What you're seeing as with some S&B and Sightron is a white haze masking the true image.
