I know some one who has one of these , he used in for two weeks , absolutely hated it , it now supports one of his trophies on his desk , got to agree with him on one point , it is a Fugly bit of kit , he said it was heavy for what it was as well , I can't confirm that as I have only seen it supporting his silver work .
Mind you , anodised in a different colour might pimp it up a bit .

I was going to ask if anyone knew the weight of it because it seems very massive..

Very uncomfortable to hold in the hand for most off hand holds for standing position.
The plastic hamster is VERY VERY slippy.
It can't be moved up or down the rail whilst on course, it's locked in position by grub screws on the rail.
Mechanism is very nice and works extremely well.

Mines in the fully up position 99% of the time, but I made my laminate to suit the height I wanted. It has come in handy on a few elevated shots. ;)

Beside de size I'm concerned about horizontal play it is rigid enough to hold a heavy rifle?

More than rigid enough and as I use a decent glove I don't find it slippy at all.

Knew it was a matter of time and first thing noticed in pre production stage.
Its quicker and dead easy to use two acetal tipped grub screws to attach to T rail, unfortunately damages the stock to the effect of zero shift. Should have done it right instead of pulling a fastun.

Theres two P800X knocking around that they will close up as much as they will go. Standard format have a massive drop 50mm too low almost level with bottom of pistol grip contortionist style, when closed up but that's the downside to utilising indents at preset positions.
