The story with Bertys is it was part done for a Steyr by Steve Lanyman. Berty used to spend a week down there whilst he was making.
In short to fit a Steyr would have took about 8 hrs work, pistol grip 90% done, cheek 75% done and sides sculpted.

The Anchutz adjusters were mangled so had to rectify and adapt Gemini butt pad.
Biggest problem and I am the only one that gets collared for stuff like this is reinlet properly for an Anchutz, harder than you think. Mill Steyr inletting out and true up, mill iregular shaped wood block to glue in, re inlet properly not as all have been done by every stock maker to date and true up the outsides.
Since Berty knackered up the accessory rail slot and made it too wide and too long for anything ever made off the shelf. I had to make the T tail and anodise think its 19" long where a long rail is no more than 11 to 12" long. Ball ache that went better than expected considering the length and thickness involved and flexing.

Have piccies of the build.

1st picky he likes the trigger blade way forward so back of action lines up about here.

Couple more.

At handover.

Berty finished the stock with Trade Secret I supplied, made by Richard Tandy a local respected gunmaker I used to do work for.
Not exactly happy with the insert machined in it was the only walnut I had left long enough so wont match.

Like his Steyr he had to have a forward mounted swingout bubble of large proportions.

Guage reads 6 bar high, reg running 73.5bar as at the British Shooting Show in February.
