UK Law: Max. 12 ft/lb for air rfiles (Keep Well BELOW this when using the heavier pellets) - have your pistol/air rifle chrony'd as Its your responsibility. When buying *NEW*, ask the shop to test the power output AND have the chrono readings recorded on a letter headed A4 (with shop chop "Paid" stapled to receipt), with brand of pellet , weight, etc...Its upto to you to ask the shop; they may be willing or unwilling - my logic ? "I spend close to GBP 1K, and you cant offer me this 10 minute service ???" . Same logic applies, when buying 2nd hand- if seller cant supply chrono readings, test the gun ASAP at home with your heaviest pellets. PROTECT YOUR BACKSIDE !
