With those facts I stay with the aluminium it's a heavy gun there is no point in add 1Kg more.

Here are some more "Facts" about the two tubes being compared.
Standard P800 Tube weight = 373 grams and length = 395mm
Titanium Tube weight = 715 grams and length = 450mm
Titanium Tube is 55 m/m longer
Difference in weight = 715g - 373g = 342 grams
So as the metric system been changed recently or does 342 grams now equal 1 Kg
I think my maths are right but then again I'm used to working in Black Country Standard feet and inches.

Titanium looks better.
But this titanium tube is longer and heavier.

Agreed; It sure does "look" better; is heavier and longer indeed; but long term, compared to non anodised aluminium, what's the probability of having to junk an alu air cylinder versus a titanium one ? am thinking that inevitably moisture will eventually get in to your air cylinder (and I dont fancy having them hydro tested for a sticker after 10 years) even if using the Hills pump and anti moisture contraception. Besides, there is a bonus of not having to use front weights in an alu or wood/laminate stock....

Lastly, titanium is bomb proof with double tensile strength to alu : http://www.differencebetween.net/object ... -titanium/

Both have their uses- alu & titanium cylinders; not a necessary case of owning 1 type over the other; I have both...and thats good enough.
