Ok got delivery from Spanish reseller... arrived safely all tracked to my doorstep - viewtopic.php?f=181&t=1740

Will unpack tomorrow morning and take plenty of pics, then post some comments.

It will be a while before I take her out to countryside to set up and shoot, so forgive me Neil, I wont have that big Nikko on top of her for a while...but will definitely take more pics of reticle in illuminated mode once mated to the ATAMAN.

Initial impression: Very Good / Excellent visual quality.

Well packed in card board box with bubble shaped bags to prevent rifle rattling about; upon opening- contains - a manual (I'll scan later all pages and post) and zip lock pouch with 2 probes and couple of Allen keys.

Initial handling - greased throughout all metal surfaces, laminate looks damn good quality and laser etched ATAMAN stands out.

Only let down is the barrel finish at both ends; but not fussed as I understood this beforehand from various forums; will get the barrel carbon sleeved up later anyway...

Looks very much like the Daystates I saw at the Europeans.

Like you I would probably have a carbon or titanium barrel shroud made for it, but it looks like a quality rifle.
