Like any bullpup without a cheek piece, theres a safety issue!
If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.

Hey Marck, how about a family secondary residence in another Euro country where 16J is easy to own ??? ie: Austria ?

Another solution - a wire braided hose attached to air cylinder (at mid point - just before trigger) attached to another Theoben air cylinder carried either on your hip belt...or in a harness...

Failing that solution...they introduced a fairly more oversized air cylinder under the barrel at existing barrel length...and or keep same diameter air cylinder...but s-t-r-e-t-c-h the barrel and cylinder lengthwise to make it more rifle like...that however would upset the balance and make it front droopy/heavy.

I used and shot the FAMAS 5.56mm bullpup assault rifle...and know it intimately...whats cool is the ambidextrous use rectified under 5mn...not only can the shells eject right or left with a simple few mods of re-arranging the hammer & ejection mech. , but there is a snap on and snap off plastic cheek rest plate which is really effective. If by chance I visit KalibrGun in Nov., as am planning a Prague trip...will have a play with the Hummingbird...and perhaps suggest they look at the idea of a snap on/off cheek rest plate...
