A: "Good point that you have raised. I believe nothing has been compromised in the design just for the sake of cosmetics, if fact quite the opposite. An interesting fact is that quite a few of the top air rifle BR shooters do NOT shoot free recoil in which case a decent grip and adjustable cheeck piece is an advantage. If one do shoot free recoil with these stocks you do not touch the grip anyway so whatever grip design is not going to bother you and the cheekpiece is also out of the way at the lowest setting. Adding those features just makes the stock a bit more versitile for different BR shooting styles. These features does add a bit of cost so I guess we could offer a stock without the adjustable cheek-piece for example but I doubt if that compromise is worth the little bit of money that will be saved. "
