I should have had a look through that one.

Had a quickie with the lastest on plinking range, just on the back boards. Optics I would be happy with giving a good all round image, far better than S&B PM1 but lacked the resolution the small 60mag Marchs have. Rets ok too uncluttered and was repeatable on what I looked at in the open.
Not sure I could get used to the helicopter focus and reaching over to adjust turret
There will never be the perfect scope, there has to be a common balance.
If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.

Jon,

Surprised you didn't think it was better than a March, comparing it to Steve's 60 mag there is no comparison ...the Kahles is better - not saying it is better than all March scopes just a direct comparison with Steve's.

Also funnily enough Steve was the second shooter who struggled with the scope, when I say struggled he preferred his Schmidt where as I thought the image was rather flat.

As said ultimately the scope will not suit everyone, out of 30 people 2 struggled with it maybe because they hadn't adjusted the scope correctly?

When the final scope is decided upon I will set up a day where people can set the scope however they want and shoot a course to really get a feel for it.

Regards

Matt

P.s. I hope Steve will post his thoughts on here as without input the scope won't move forward.

I have no idea as to price as that will be down to the distributor.

There will be two rets available not sure if both available from the off.

Speak to your local dealer / distributor.

I don't deal with distributors or UK agents Matt

- I'll shop from whoever in Europe at Best Prices compared to UK, and I'll speak to Peter at the 2015 IWA show in Nuremberg and do some arm twisting for silver anodise (if not already done)

I have asked for silver to be available, they are looking into it.

My point re distributors is that it is upto them to set there profit and the dealers to add theirs. Due to currency conversions there will always be cheaper prices elsewhere.

Hopefully silver is available - should be for obvious reasons..

Lets see if final UK price on K1050 is on par with Euro pricing - would be an "interesting" observation if harmonised, win -win for UK consumer. if not, shopping online and "Helloooooooooo Europe ! Here I come with my wallet £££ !"

I know people buy with their wallet and understandably so but it would also be good to support the uk who have potentially helped to create the product, just my thoughts.

I hope it is a good scope, certainly the one I have used all season has not disadvantaged me in any way, it will not be perfect for everyone but no scope is and I don't think there ever will be but hopefully there is enough in this scope to suit people. Long term wise I also hope by working with the company is this way other companies will come on board and work with FT shooters to produce kit we want.
