Evening all,
After watching a few YouTube videos from previous FT comps I've seen quite a few people wearing the shooting jackets that the Olympic target shooters wear, do they make much of a difference for FT shooting?

Tony,
Never wore one...but recall wearing my fully zipped up Schott horse hide 'Perfecto' in my youth on the bike...and can see / understand why they are used in 10m and of course FT.
I suggest you speak to some shooters for direct feedback experience. From all the photos, It seems self evident where & how they could support the shooting stature / position of the body & arms...
I think the main difference with FT versus 10m - is FT is more supple, allowing greater freedom of movement when in Nylon - standing, sitting, kneeling, versus a standing position in 10m where the the leather jacket is a stiff asylum straight-jacket
Here are some options If you decide to shop around...

Sorry no good asking me i havent even tried a glove in 26 years and probably never will. Some things best kept natural.
Besides the lack of protection from our elements these things have to be worn all year round. Its not like you can take a couple of layers off a 3 in 1 offering water proof protection to warmth.
Summer just imagine mid June in a field with full on sun.
Luckily our winters are no where near they were over 8 years ago probably last time used a hand warmer or two, yet alone 40 yrs or more ago.

If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.
