Whether useful/practical - I can see some sense for *SOME* users. Besides may as well be a secondary pinpoint 20 yard calibrated to bulls eye - so as a back up the user ranging from that point of impact - to next yardage say at 30 or 40. Not necessarily in comps.
As Jon would say, of no use to FT comp shooters. In tactical mode for powder burners, semi auto 5.56 fitted with scope - totally practical and another use in close combat...

...from reading elsewhere - seen this on another air rifle- purpose is/was- quick target acquisition, PRIOR to slapping the eye to the scope which is in high mag.BenGun wrote:Now you have to explain what the glass addition is and does mate.

At a guess, an action cam , I use the Garmin one on mine , as it's got a great slow motion.
You can see what the pellet is doing as it goes down range before it strikes the target .
Only of any use after the shot is taken , as you can get instant replay on your phone.
They are very good as a training aid , you can see your mistakes and iron them out.

Its Matts old rifle sold earlier in the year, been round the block a bit in 4 years.
I'll ask Colin the new owner, fairly sure its a shot cam of some sort.

If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.
