Hi friends
I buy an old EV2 mk2 but of course the latter to leaks
I can't to unscrew the air cylinder, I have already tried many solutions but it is stuck to the extreme
I don't want to damage the tube if possible, but I only see one last solution : the torch, but I fear that it destroys the black color
Would someone have an intermediate solution ?
Cheers

Hi Pascal,
How about stripping action completely - obviously all air discharged from cylinder...then place in large pot of boiling water on the stove for 10minutes
Remove and quickly put in clamping vice (use wood to protect air cylinder) , then wrap action in thick cloth and use force to twist...
Failing this...worst case is ask / contact Air Arms via email ?

Many many thanks Peter
It's a good idea the boiling water
I'm already not very good at cooking, and this is the first time I'm going to cook a rifle !
For the collet I think that it's also great.. we have the same idea because I looked this :
So I'll try all yours techniques before anything else, I'll let you know
Cheers
PS : the Shaun schroud barrel is perfect.. I think to do the same, perhaps in carbon..

With a friend and big big strong we arrive to unscrew the air cylinder !
For this we use polyester webbing straps wrapped and two levers arm 1 meter
We also heated the cylinder very strongly with a gun thermal duct and after 15 minutes of effort it finally unscrew !
Now, all the o'ring are news but I have again a little leak and I don't know the reason !?
The leak is in the aluminium front part by a very little hole, see picture, I don't know if is a security system for surpression and if there is a o'ring in this part ?
Many thanks for help

They are excessively tightened up to stop all but the most hardened get them apart, in turn jobs for the boys. Got many apart after AA had mitts on them, absolutely no need for it just hand tight suffice.
Aa think tighten excessively they will have the repair back and act as anti tamper which is not a law.

If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.

Thank you Jon
I solve the problem, in this part there is a little piston with 2 o'ring, one BS004 and one other BS010, it's a system against overpressure
With the time these two o'ring are completly dryed and do a leak, look at the pictures
Cheers
