Sorry I cant confirm it being 1/2"UNF I cant find any info and have never bothered to have a look. When they paid us a visit in February one said it was 1/2" UNF.
Heres the dilemma an industry regarded standard is 1/2"UNF X20 for airguns worldwide, I suspect they have cocked up again and done 1/2" UNF X28 a finer pitch associated with rim and small calibre centre fires to 32 TPI. If compare thread pitch on the male silencer its probably a longer pitch thread than in the insert in barrel sleeve at 28 TPI, it might just start to go in about 1/4 rev?
Having a look on their site they do male 1/2"UNFX28 to male 1/2"UNFX20 adaptors and M15X1.
Deeply suspect its 28 TPI a finer pitch which is less than a 1mm pitch leaving a max of 0.65mm wall when fitted inside the 15.1mm bore tube.

Thanks Jon, I think you are spot on, although it looks the same size I can only get it to bite about 1/4 turn then it locks up, thanks for the advice and links, atb tim.
