We shot this at the British shooting show where we were given a sneak preview of it - was also where I introduced Jon to Anschutz formally.

We've been discussing with them about 12ftlbs factory versions for the past 18 months...This is their version of the conversion, hopefully after numerous meetings this weekend at IWA we will have some further news.

NB: Was told the barrel is same as in 7.5Joules 10m model...rifling / twist is identical ...

Yes, they have been testing high power barrels for about a year but have stuck with the 10m barrels.

These are both OEM (Original Equipment Manufactured) ie: Factory 11.5 ft/lb (15.4 Joules) - that's what the excitement has been about in part, but also the Jon Harris (UK, Uber Guru) transferance of some of his know how over to Anschutz to "get it done right"

As far as stockist in UK, wait till Matt comes along to advise on UK £RRP and where & when to buy.

Just to clear up a number of questions being asked about the Anschutz 12ftlbs air rifles.

These rifles are wholly Anschutz developed rifles, we myself and Jon harris, have been in contact with Anschutz during the development of the rifles but have had no direct input into anything that has gone into them (other than than advising what has gone into jons conversion)

These rifles will be available via any Anschutz distributor in your country.

Jon will continue to supply his modified 6ftlbs rifles direct and with approval from the UK distributor.

Not to sound like sour grapes Matt, but legally does a UK Agent need to "approve" a conversion, once a buyer hands over a rifle to be modded ? (whether sourced from UK or Europe)

ie: I buy a Mercedes or BMW in the UK, and have it pimped up - engine and cosmetic wise, within DVLA and UK law/regulations and parameters to drive it 'legal' on the road ; would Mercedes UK or BMW UK have any say ? none

So any Anschutz bought in UK (or Europe), and modified by XYZ chap, to 11.5 ft/lb - does it need a blessing from the UK agent ? Would appreciate a News Release by the law firm representing RUAG UK to clarify this ...

In fact I'd challenge this in a court of law, could do with a hike in my bank balance.
