Euro 1270 = £1079at Spot rate ... I suggest you whip out the Platinum CC and buy a baker's dozen before the price mysteriously gravitates upward, because of  'market forces'

NB: mind you, that's at 1 to 1.18 right now ...if Sterling increase back to pre-Brexit levels (likely), anything above 1.25 starts looking good *if* the price hasnt gone up Eurowise...

Well, that's genuinely good news then...surprised no one in UK mentioned this previously as a few weeks ago the discussion was Anschutz's mad pricing - which made the action no good value....and choice was limited to 9015 Club (ie: user would have to buy whole rifle).

Will keep an eye on which UK resellers advertise with good pricing...that beats that Euro pricing, but by how much £ quids in...

Euro 1369 = £1210 (£1 = Euro 1.13 - Double Whammy > Price Increase + GBP weakness)

Price in Euro's gone up by Euro 100 since April - wonder HOW that happened ?

Which UK retail shop "legit" advertises their prices ? any ? ANY :?: ...thought not...back to cloak & dagger :(

As shops who do nothing else:-
Edinkille
Intershoot internet only
Bisley

Edinkille looks current pricing as at 10 July 2017, the rest may come unstuck when they figure current trade price and sell off old stock prices. Only way is if they have in stock bought at old prices ie pre 1 April 2017. Even the 2 year old obsolete 8001, 8002 and 9003 brand new or ex demo are dearer than equivalent current 9015 models, brought in around 13 June.

So if you were a shop whats a respectable markup?
Worked out Edinkilles, unless they are a fast mover they wont be in business long selling Anchutz.

When looking for prices, have they got it in stock? Anyone can sell the cheapest if not in stock and how olds the internet pricing.

As regards the price increase think again, theres been two price hikes of variable amounts depending which model chosen.
Initially prices went up £30 for some models and £60 for the top end brought in by arrogant Anchutz.

Since mid June a variable amount slapped on top of above £151 for the cheapest and close on £400 for the Ones.
This again due to arrogant Anchutz refusing to send shipments to dealers other German manufacturers do . Krale have been collecting for 2 years, CZ a stone throw away and cheaper to do so in fact where some German shops load a car up and drive across border to post out.
So have additional cost of shipping, in this case double previous pre mid June and Parcel Force breaking something like 1 in 20 rifles they wont pay out on have to be built in.
Or from any British companies eyes how much would you personally want to drive 300 mile to Dover then 332 mile to Anchutz, no stoppages excluding ferry time and cost, 15 hours plus. Then the same journey back again that's well over a weeks labour for the actual driver and .45p per mile running costs. This case excluding legit business overheads that's not less than £1500 per shipment more likely to be £2k for a one man band. Split that over what you have collected and there you go. Then add on Parcel Force breakages within UK you might get the picture.

Luckily I am currently maxed out, cant hold any more legally the non law abiding do and get away with but do have a personal stash at Ruag at pre 1 April prices. Soon as that's over, that's it will find another company to drag from the ashes to find cock it up German style. Know exactly whats happened here, accountants been vocal not making enough dosh and demand price increase negating the fact will have seriously diminished sales rather than cure the way they work which isn't efficient just typical German arrogance, sod the rest and theyre never wrong attitude!

So I gather Its gone pear shaped in what I thought was going to be a fruitful collaboration with the introduction made to you and your ideas etc.. etc :?:

No gratitude I gather...

Ever met the head honcho ? You're welcome to IWA as you're in the trade - maybe face to face with the principal to give them a fair bit of the British bulldog spirit advice ?

Mmmmm...it always in any industry, boils down to £££ and who controls the flow of goods into any market.

As said, Its do-able for Manufacturers to sell direct & deliver straight to Retail shops ..who needs more intermediaries when the retail price keeps rising :?: common sense is - cut out the middle man ; but of course, Agents would riot & go berserk over this ;)

As you can gather I am not very tactful just say it the way it is.

Distributor knows of the problem and they don't have anyone there to manage, so walked all over.
Have spoke to head honcho several times over the last 12 years for a multitude of things. Without clout no one will get any where.
Lesser staff much better, some even understand the relationship and all that goes with customer service.

Things have vastly improved the last 6 years, gone are the days when a part on the shelf that just needed picking was done when they felt like it meaning several months, no joke. Now its a once monthly delivery, sorry collect. One thing that hasn't changed is the lying and not knowing what left hands doing unless an individual expedites or manages the project.

When you start looking at Krale and Buinger there isn't a lot in it to the door over trade price. Stick 10% on your £130 dearer than importing since mid June, killed it. Used to make easy money for old rope at pre Junes massive price hike, now would have to sell at cost. Things will change with Brexit adding more to the cost plus the legalities.

Here's an eye opener...

Got a quote for Euro 1225 on Friday 4th August 2017 - from well known shop reseller...PM me if you want the name.. ;)

Mind you GBP is down from 1.13 to 1.10

So that works out, minus PayPal crap exchange rate or Bank wire transfer and postage fees to
GBP £ 1105 (Spot Forex)

So essentially that's the price you pay at the shop counter if you're in country X

Plus shipping and transfer fees or paypal fees on top of the £1105.

Still better off supporting home land businesses rather than others if know where to go.
Received an action yesterday, boxed and delivered in person by MD of UK distribution Ruag UK.

You didnt see that comment coming heh :?:
