#1 New toy - Anschutz 9015

Fri Aug 25, 2017 11:51 am

Well finally joined the "cool kids"flock last week with a 9015  Converted it on Tuesday then threw it together on Saturday morning with the intention of having a plink before the Gp at Emley. It was so nice to shoot I just had to shoot the Gp with it!The score wasn't great but that was down to gun fit really, the gun shot spot on.I took the March 60 and rail off my 8002 and had to alter the windage by 3 clicks :D Dialing was exactly the same ;)
Welcome back Anschutz, you've not changed much, but if aint broke it doesn't need fixing.

I like your Pimp & Mods very Much !

Nice one ...who's done the conversion if you dont mind the reveal ? but who's done the butt hook carbon off-set ? :o  That's rather cool...Im presuming that's an oversized carbon tube over the barrel that may also double up as an integrated silencer or not :?:

...If you can ...would appreciate video recording /registering the sound at end of muzzle with your Phone as you take a shot ...then upload here ...curious how much loud, or how quiet it's become with your set up...

Hi Guido, you have already seen inside :D Offsetting the hook has made such a difference to the fit of the gun since Sunday.

Cant seem to post a video, but ambient noise in my garden was 42db the shot at the muzzle recorded 60db ;) cocking the gun took it to 52db,so its nearly as quiet as cocking the gun :D
