I don't like this kind of scope mounting, but Equal Opportunities are very important in our times, ain't they?
So if I wanted to design a mount system where the most possible gun parts have their own chance to affect the scope-barrel ratio then I'd do the same...

As a first aid, I'd put 3-3 grub screws into the rings around the barrel and most of the problems are sorted, even if not perfectly.

Quite agree Andras, this has to be the ultimate recipe for zero shift.
If a jobs worth doing, do it right or not at all.

I did this a while back

He wanted a tube on it but was on a budget so an AirArms tube was used.

He wanted to do the final assembly himself so i made the trigger with loads of adjustments and loads of bits to finish. I'll try & find some better pics of the build.
